WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!

I began creating this site subsequent to my retirement as a clinical therapist and art therapist in community mental health in June, 2009, with the intention of cataloguing my art work and growing collection of art works.   Was this to become a “life review?”  (Or documentation for my insurance company?)

Since then, I have become aware of the range of my experiences and how they might resonate with others;  I am both an artist who is an art therapist and an art therapist who is also an artist. 

I continue to work as an instructor in the Graduate Art Therapy Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, mentor and supervise post-graduate art therapists, and am a member of the Art Committee of the American Art Therapy Association. 

I have been adding new pages of images and dialogue, including some spontaneous text, which has led to including a BLOG page.
